Portuna Recovery

Free scan in beta · collection next

Find out what's stuck on your old deposit addresses

Years of deposits leave money on addresses nobody looks at anymore. Upload a list of them, and a free scan of 8 EVM networks shows what's there, what it's worth and what it would cost to recover.

Read-only: no keys, no signatures, no transactions.

What a scan finds
  • 0x5aAe…eAed Worth recovering

    USDT · BNB Smart Chain

    Sent on the wrong network

  • 0xfB69…d359 Worth recovering

    USDC · Base

    A token you don't support

  • 0xdbF0…C6FB Below cost

    ETH · Ethereum

An illustration. A real report gives each balance its amount, value, cost to recover and net.

Why it's there

Every processing leaves money behind

  • Dust and leftovers

Sweeps rarely leave an address empty: gas top-ups that didn't match the gas spent, deposits below your sweep threshold, the last cents of a token. Each is small, and they sit on thousands of addresses.

  • Tokens you don't support

Users send whatever their wallet or exchange lets them. A token outside your list lands on a deposit address, and your processing never credits or sweeps it.

  • Coins on the wrong network

An EVM address and its key are the same on every EVM network. A user who withdraws USDT on BNB Smart Chain to your Ethereum deposit address leaves it there, on BNB Smart Chain, where your processing doesn't look.

How it works

Upload a list. Get a report.

  1. 01

    Upload your addresses

Export deposit addresses from your system as CSV, TXT or JSON: up to 50,000 a project, 5 MB a file. The console takes every address in the file and skips the rest — user ids, balances, other columns.

  2. 02

    We scan

Every address on 8 EVM networks, for the native coin and every ERC-20 token. It takes from minutes to a few hours, depending on the list; you can close the page meanwhile.

  3. 03

    Read the report

What's there, what it's worth, what it would cost to recover and the net — by network, token and address. Filter it, open any address in the block explorer, export it to CSV.

  4. Next

    Collection comes next

Recovering what the report finds is the next step, and it isn't open yet. If your report shows something worth recovering, tell us.

The report

Every balance, weighed against the cost to recover it

Only balances with a reliable price that can actually be moved count. Each is compared with the gas it would take to collect.

Left out, with the reason

A token that can't be priced or moved reliably is listed apart and counts in no total:

  • No reliable price
  • Price from thin pools
  • Low trading volume
  • Stale price
  • Looks like spam
  • Doesn't transfer
Amount and value
Per network, token and address. Prices come from DefiLlama, or from CoinGecko when DefiLlama doesn't answer.
Cost to recover
The gas of one sweep in a batch of 100, at the network's gas price during the scan. An address's first sweep on a network carries its EIP-7702 authorization, and the creation of its account if it has none there.
Net
Value minus cost. A balance is worth recovering when it brings at least $1 net.
Totals
Found, worth recovering, the cost of recovering it and the net before the Portuna fee: for the project, by network and by token.

On rollups the cost is the execution gas: the fee for posting data to Ethereum, a fraction of a cent per sweep, is not included.

Networks

8 EVM networks where EIP-7702 is live

An EVM address and its key work on every EVM network, so the scan reads all of them at once. It covers the networks where EIP-7702 is live: that's what collecting without gas top-ups needs.

Your data

Read-only, and kept only for your report

The scan reads public blockchain data. It needs no keys and no signatures, and sends no transactions.

Read the guide
  • Nothing signed, nothing sent

No keys, no authorizations, no transactions. Even the transfer check is a simulation, eth_call, which needs no signature and changes nothing on-chain.

  • Your list stays in your project

The console keeps only the addresses from your file, and only for your project's report. To read balances, the scan sends the addresses to a blockchain data provider; nothing else from the file leaves the console. Other organizations never see your projects.

  • Deleted after 30 days, or sooner

A project — its addresses, scans and report — is deleted for good 30 days after it's created; the console shows the date. Delete it yourself at any time. Deleting your organization deletes its projects at once.

  • Roles, audit log, a safe export

Every member sees the reports; uploads, scans, exports and deletions take a developer role or above and go to your audit log. In the CSV, cells a spreadsheet would read as a formula are written as text.

Pricing

The scan is free. Collection is agreed per project.

  • Free scan

Scanning, the report and the CSV export cost nothing. No subscription, and nothing to set up in your custody.

  • A fee per project

The fee for collection is agreed with you for each project, before anything is collected. Once it's agreed, your report shows the Portuna fee and the net after it.

  • Gas counted in

The net in the report already has the estimated gas taken off, so you see what recovery would bring before you decide anything.

FAQ

Questions about Portuna Recovery

Is the scan safe for our funds?

Yes. It reads public blockchain data and nothing else: no keys, no signatures, no transactions. The transfer check is a simulation that changes nothing on-chain.

What happens to our address list?

It's used for your project's report and nothing else. Delete the project at any time; otherwise it's deleted for good 30 days after it's created, together with its scans and report.

Which networks and tokens?

Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain, Base, OP Mainnet, Arbitrum One, Polygon PoS, Gnosis, and Unichain — the EVM networks where EIP-7702 is live. On each, the scan looks for the native coin and every ERC-20 token. Tron and other non-EVM networks aren't scanned.

The report shows tokens we don't support. What do we do with them?

That's your decision: these are usually your users' deposits, and how to handle them — credit them, return them or treat them under your terms — is up to you. The report only shows what's there and what it would cost to recover.

Why is a token missing from the report?

It couldn't be priced or moved reliably: no price, a price from thin pools, low trading volume, a stale price, a spam-like name, or a transfer that fails in simulation. The report lists such tokens apart, with the reason, and they don't count in any total.

How exact is the cost to recover?

It's an estimate: the gas of one sweep in a batch of 100 at each network's gas price during the scan. The actual cost depends on gas prices when the funds are collected.

When can we collect what the scan finds?

Collection isn't open yet; it's the next step. It is designed like Portuna Sweep: funds go only to addresses you choose — your hot wallet or your deposit address at an exchange — with EIP-7702 authorizations signed in your custody, and we pay the gas. If your report shows something worth recovering, write to sales@portuna.io.
